What is a Monster Core?[]

A Monster Core is another way of acquiring monsters. They are "shards" of the monster, and when all of them are obtained, you can create that monster.

In order to see how many Cores you have of each monster, simply click the Monster Button and then Monster Cores:

Note: You cannot see Monster Cores that you do not have. If all you see is a blank page then look for the monsters which you have by clicking the appropriate element buttons.

How to Acquire Monster Cores[]

Monster Cores can be acquired in several ways. Currently known ways include:

Daily Mission Cores
  • Gathering Cores after completing all daily missions.
  • Gathering Cores through the Daily Calendar, based on the month of that calendar.
  • Gathering Cores through the rewards of the Maelstrom Epic Boss. The cores Maelstrom drops varies depending on the month and rank.
  • Gathering Cores from the Lucky Roulette and on special occasion through limited special sales.
  • Through special deals offered by Gamevil.

Universal Cores[]

As of the chapter 2-10 update, a new type of core called Universal Cores were released into the game. Universal Cores can only be created with a Universal Core Generator and requires 50 materials, obtained from grinding monster cores, to create 25 universal cores (). The ratio for monster core grade to material can be found here.

Universal Core

Universal Cores act as any monster core.

Note: Monster cores will take priority over universal cores when summoning a monster. This means if a player has 25 Sally cores, they would need 245 to summon her. If the player has 260 Sally cores and 50, the game would take the 260 monster cores and 10 rather then taking 50 and 220 Sally cores.

Universal cores can also be bought from the Monster Cores section at a flat rate of 20. Players can also obtain universal cores from Team Battles.

Using Monster Cores[]

In order to use Monster Cores, you must first have enough Monster Cores in order to summon a Monster:

Incomplete Cores

As the picture to the left shows, in order to summon Aphrodite, you will need 150 Aphrodite cores in order to summon her. Without the 150 cores, you cannot summon her at all.

You can have more cores then the required amount; excess cores are not lost if you have more cores then the required amount. This allows you to summon them more at once.

Once you have the required amount of cores, then you should see something like this:

The 'Summon' button becomes visible, this means that the monster is ready to be summoned. Simply press it and it will ask for a confirmation.

You now have a new monster!
